Ronan Bulletin Colors are high quality, high gloss enamels specially formulated for use on signs and billboards. Preferred for larger scale signage, Bulletin Colors are designed for painting backgrounds, lettering copy and graphics. One coat coverage, fast dry, fast cut in and extreme high gloss produce a dazzling, weather resistant finish. Recommended for use on outdoor advertising billboards, metal highway signs, commercial signs. All types of wood, masonite, masonry and metal surfaces. Other uses include above-water marine and industrial applications where premium full gloss enamel is required. As a finish coat on all interior or exterior wood, metal, aluminum, galvanized metal, concrete and masonry surfaces, Fiberglas and many synthetics; any surface that calls for a high performance architectural coating.
Dry Time: @ 70 F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 3 to 4 hours; to handle - 6 to 8 hours; to recoat - 12 hours. Full cure - 7 days. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.
Application Methods: Brush, roller or spray.

Quick Dry Background Enamels are lead free enamels formulated for production background work where a quick dry finish is required. They are designed to yield a durable, high gloss, weather resistant finish and are ideal for use on metal, wood and masonry surfaces. Recommended for use on outdoor advertising billboards, metal highway signs, all types of wood, masonite board and metal structures.
Dry Time: @ 70 F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 30 minutes to 2 hours; to handle - 2 to 4 hours; to recoat - 6 to 8 hours. Full cure - 7 days. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.
Application Methods: Brush, roller or spray.

One Stroke Lettering Enamel is the first lead free Lettering Enamel on the market. It is an extremely high hiding, high gloss enamel specially formulated to meet the requirements of the sign industry for an easy working, one stroke enamel. It is designed to have excellent flow, dry to a clean edge and to leave no brush marks. Preferred for smaller scale signage and applications that require hand lettering. Available in half-pints, pints, quarts and gallons.
Dry Time: @ 70 F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 3 to 4 hours; to handle - 6 to 8 hours; to recoat - 12 hours. Full cure - 7 days. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.
Application Methods: Brush, roller, spray or airbrush.



Ron-Art Poster Colors are lead free, ready to use, flat colors formulated for use on poster paper, cardboard, wood, and metal signs. They are water resistant and may be used as an interior or temporary exterior finish. Ron-Art Poster Colors dry to a velvet smooth, flat finish that will not wrinkle the finest of papers.
Dry Time: @70 F and 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 30 minutes; to handle - 2 hours; to recoat - 8 hours. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.

Ron-Glo Fluorescent Colors are solvent-based lead free flat colors formulated for the graphics arts industry. They are designed for use on properly primed white substrates that require high visibility paint such as signs, painted bulletins, exhibits, safety & aviation markings etc. Commonly used on wood, steel, canvas, vinyl, plastic and glass. Note: The light fastness of fluorescent color is limited. Light fastness and durability depend on 1) the thickness and uniformity of the coating and 2) the use of Ron-Glo U.V. Absorber or Vinyl Cote U.V. Absorber as a protective overcoat.
Dry Time: @ 70 F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 1 hour; to handle - 3 hours; to recoat - 8 hours. Full cure - 7 days. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.

Gloss Process Colors are lead free, high quality, high gloss solid covering synthetic enamels specially formulated for screen process. Pure color clarity and extreme high gloss produce a dazzling, weather resistant finish. They exhibit excellent adhesion to most surfaces - glass, metal, wood, leather, canvas, etc. Recommended for use on outdoor advertising billboards, metal highway signs, commercial signs. Suitable for all types of wood, masonite, masonry and metal surfaces.
Dry Time: @ 70° F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 2 to 3 hours; to handle: 4 to 5 hours; to recoat - 24 hours. Full cure - 36 hours. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions. Two or three coats applied on top of one another require more time to achieve a hard dry. Drying racks should be designed and laid out so that the work will receive adequate ventilation. Heat in the winter and fans in the summer are great aids in getting a hard dry. Do not stack work until thoroughly dry. Place a piece of waxed paper between stacked work.

Liquid Gold is a solvent-based solid covering, quick drying, non-smudge, metallic acrylic coating that dries to a smooth, durable, weather and tarnish resistant finish. It is formulated for use as an interior and exterior finish on wood, metal, and glass. Some uses are signs, picture frames, furniture, lamps, decorations, and church renovation or wherever a long lasting, tarnish resistant gold coating is required. This coating should not be used on any surface that will come in contact with solvents or harsh cleaning agents (vehicles, motorcycles, windows) unless it is over coated with Ronan Aquathane water based urethane clear.
Dry Time: @ 70 F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 30 minutes to 2 hours; to handle: 2 hours; to recoat - 12 hours. Full cure - 36 hours. Before over coating with Aquathane let dry for 48 hours. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.

Water Based

Aquacote is a waterborne, low odor, high gloss, solid covering, acrylic Bulletin Enamel formulated for graphic arts and maintenance applications. It is lead free, fast drying, easy brushing, environmentally friendly, VOC compliant and easy clean up. It produces a durable, flexible, weather resistant finish and exhibits excellent adhesion to wood, steel, concrete, galvanized metal, aluminum and treated or untreated vinyl. It is recommended for painting backgrounds, lettering copy and graphics on signs, outdoor advertising billboards, metal highway signs, commercial signs and vinyl banners. Metal structures must be primed with Ronan Prime Lock DTM Primer.
Dry Time: @ 70 F. and 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 30 minutes; to handle - 2 hours; to recoat - 8 hours. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions. Wait 8 hours before rolling or folding vinyl signs.

Aqua Ron-Glo Fluorescent Color is a water based, lead free, daylight fluorescent coating with built in ultra violet protection formulated for the graphics arts industry. It dries to a bright fluorescent, flexible, weather & fade resistant, velvet finish and exhibits excellent adhesion to wood, metal, treated vinyl and many other substrates. Aqua Ron-Glo can be used on any interior or exterior properly primed white substrate that requires a high visibility paint, such as, signs, painted bulletins, exhibits, safety & aviation markings etc. Non-Flammable, non-toxic when cured, low odor.
Dry Time: @ 70 F; 50% Relative Humidity: Dries to touch - 45 minutes to 1 hour; to handle - 2 1/2 hours; to recoat - 2 1/2 hours. Full cure - 8 hours. Will take longer to dry under colder or more humid conditions.

Aqua Leaf is a water based, lead free, non-gassing, pearlescent, metallic-like coating with built in ultra violet protection. It is formulated with nacreous pigments to yield a lustrous metallic look. It dries to a flexible, weather & fade resistant, bright metallic like finish and exhibits excellent adhesion to wood, metal, treated and untreated vinyl and many other substrates. Aqua Leaf can be used on any interior or exterior properly primed white substrate. Used by furniture and cabinet refinishers and interior decorators for a variety of decorative applications. Used extensively by specialty painters and artists for faux finishes and glazing. Non-Flammable, non-toxic when cured, low odor.
